Extended search fields

When my users conduct an extended search and they want to search in a specific field, they 'add a metadata criteria'. Currently the system shows them all the metadata fields in the system. Is there a way i can show them only some? ie: country, customer, business unit, etc. 

Having all these fields appear is confusing people and making it harder to search properly.

  The list of metadata fields that you see in FotoWeb's advanced search interface reflects the fields that you've added to a metadata view, which in turn in associated with the archive. It seems to me that you've added pretty much every conceivable field to the collection - if only a subset of these are used actively, you may consider reducing the number of fields included in the associated metadata set.
